Sega has revealed Sonic Rumble, a multiplayer battle royale game for mobile devices inspired by titles like Fall Guys. Up to 32 players compete, navigating levels with iconic Sonic iconography and retro 2D platformer sections. Character customization and in-game items enhance gameplay. A closed beta runs from May 24 to 26, and the game is expected to fully release in the fall. Sonic Rumble joins other Sonic the Hedgehog games coming this year, including Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic Mania Plus on Netflix.
