Sonic Rumble: Sega Unveils Multiplayer Battle Royale Game for Mobile

Sega has revealed Sonic Rumble, a multiplayer battle royale game for mobile devices inspired by titles like Fall Guys. Up to 32 players compete, navigating levels with iconic Sonic iconography and retro 2D platformer sections. Character customization and in-game items enhance gameplay. A closed beta runs from May 24 to 26, and the game is expected to fully release in the fall. Sonic Rumble joins other Sonic the Hedgehog games coming this year, including Sonic x Shadow Generations and Sonic Mania Plus on Netflix.

PUBG Nostalgia: Erangel Classic Map Returns for a Limited Time

Get ready to relive the glory days of PUBG as the classic Erangel map makes a grand return. From May 14th to May 28th, players will have the chance to revisit the beloved battleground that first introduced the world to the battle royale phenomenon. In addition to the familiar foggy and rainy weather, the revamped map will also feature the bench weapons on the starting island, the vintage UI, and a slightly reduced recoil for firearms, taking you back to the early days of the game.

PUBG’s Original Erangel Map Returns for a Nostalgic Two-Week Event

Krafton has announced the return of PUBG’s original Erangel map, known as Erangel Classic, for a limited-time event starting May 14th. Erangel Classic recreates the game’s initial battleground with nostalgic graphics and old-school balancing, blending elements from the original map with current gameplay features. Players can experience Erangel Classic in Normal Match mode on PC from May 14th to 28th, and on consoles from May 23rd to June 6th.
