Bay Area High Schools Shine in U.S. News Rankings

Several Bay Area high schools have achieved notable rankings in the latest U.S. News and World Report’s list of best public high schools in California. Lowell High School in San Francisco, Lynbrook High School in San Jose, and Dr. T.J. Owens Gilroy Early College Academy in Gilroy all made it to the top 10 within the state. Lowell High School, ranked No. 7 in California and No. 74 nationally, offers rigorous academic programs, including honors-level and AP courses. Lynbrook High School, ranked No. 9 in California and No. 82 nationally, provides ample opportunities for Advanced Placement coursework and exams. Dr. T.J. Owens Gilroy Early College Academy, ranked No. 10 in California and No. 86 nationally, also emphasizes AP courses and exams.
