The GLLE project ensures the RCAF is equipped with cutting-edge defense technologies for years to come.

Bell Textron Nears Incentives for $429 Million Advanced Manufacturing Plant in Fort Worth

Aerospace defense company Bell Textron is set to receive state incentives for a $429 million advanced manufacturing plant in Fort Worth. The plant will manufacture components of Bell’s newest attack helicopter for the U.S. Army, the V-280 Valor, and is expected to create up to 411 jobs. The company is also seeking almost $2.7 million in Texas Enterprise Fund grants and has been offered a $1 million grant from the City of Fort Worth for the new plant. If approved, Bell will invest an estimated $429 million into the plant, including $272 million in manufacturing equipment and $157 million in real estate. The project would be a major investment in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and would support the manufacturing of Bell’s new aircraft.
