HBO has released first look images of Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie in the upcoming second season of The Last of Us. Based on the beloved video game franchise, the series follows the journey of Joel, a hardened survivor, and Ellie, a teenage girl who may hold the key to saving humanity from a deadly fungal infection. The second season will delve into the events of the second game, The Last of Us Part II, and will premiere in 2025 on HBO and HBO Max. Joining the cast for this season is Kaitlyn Dever as Abby, a pivotal character from the game. Other new additions include Isabela Merced, Young Mazino, Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle, Spencer Lord, Danny Ramirez, and Catherine O’Hara.
