Italy Seeks to Reset Ties with China Amid Trade Tensions

Bangladesh and China Strengthen Ties with 21 Agreements and New Projects

Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Chinese President Xi Jinping met in China, resulting in the signing of 21 agreements and the announcement of seven new projects. The two countries also agreed to elevate their strategic partnership to a comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership. China pledged support for Bangladesh’s development through grants, loans, and commercial loans, while also promising to play a role in resolving the Rohingya crisis. The meeting also saw discussions on trade, investment, and regional and international matters.
