Constellations Explores Parallel Universes and the Choices We Make

Kane County Repertory opens its 2024-25 season with the two-person play “Constellations” by Nick Payne, which delves into the concept of parallel universes and the impact of our choices on our lives. The play follows Roland, a beekeeper, and Marianne, a physicist, as they navigate their romantic relationship through multiple iterations of their lives. Directed by Kane County Repertory’s new artistic director, Bethany Mangum-Oles, “Constellations” explores themes of free will versus destiny and offers a thought-provoking examination of our own lives.
