Trump Says He Opposes Restrictions on Birth Control, Contraceptives

Former President Donald Trump has stated that he will never advocate for birth control restrictions or the banning of contraceptives. This comes after he was asked about his stance on contraception during an interview with KDKA, a local Pittsburgh station. Trump’s comments were in response to Biden campaign spokesperson Sarafina Chitika’s accusations that Trump aimed to restrict access to birth control and emergency contraceptives if he were elected. Trump, however, emphasized his support for states’ rights regarding abortion, as long as there are exceptions for rape, incest, and the life of the mother. He also affirmed his support for in vitro fertilization (IVF).
