The Himachal Pradesh education department is issuing show cause notices to teachers in schools with a class 10 pass percentage below 25%. This action follows the analysis of board results revealing a concerning number of schools with low performance, including 30 with zero percent pass rate. The department is also implementing induction training for newly recruited teachers to improve their preparedness and address concerns about teacher availability and effectiveness.
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) has opened the application window for its second board exams for Class 10 and 12 students in 2024. This decision comes after the state government’s February agreement to hold two board exams for these grades within the same academic year – in March and July. Students who appeared for the March exams can now register for the July exams, with a June 30 deadline for regular applications and a July 2 deadline with a late fee. The Board has also emphasized its right to adjust the exam schedule as needed without prior notification, and that exams will proceed even on public holidays.
The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the results of the Class 10th Board Examinations on Monday, May 27, 2024, at 1 pm. Students must score at least 35% in theory and practicals to pass the board exams. Over 16 lakh students appeared for the SSC exam 2024, which was conducted from March 1 to March 26.

The last date to apply without a late fee is May 26, 2024, while applications can be submitted with a late fee until July 31, 2024. This year, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 Board exams stood at 95.22%, while Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 85.31%.

The RBSE secondary exams were conducted from March 7th to 30th, while the Inter board exams took place from February 26th to April 4th, 2024. Over 20 lakh students registered for both examinations, including approximately 11 lakh for Class 10 and 9 lakh for Class 12.
