Omni Air International has entered into a long-term partnership with the New England Patriots to manage their two Boeing 767-300 aircraft. This agreement will facilitate the team’s travel needs and provide charter services, including humanitarian and goodwill missions. The aircraft will also be available for Omni’s other charter clients when not in use by the Patriots.
On Friday, a Delta Air Lines flight from New York to Los Angeles experienced the loss of an emergency slide shortly after takeoff. The crew detected a vibration, prompting them to declare an emergency and return to JFK Airport for a safe landing. The aircraft carried 176 passengers and was removed from service for evaluation while authorities investigate the incident.
