Birdon America, Inc. is set to deliver the first tranche of six Bridge Erection Boats (BEBs) to the Netherlands Army as part of a larger contract for three Wide Gap Crossing systems. The BEBs, manufactured in Denver, Colorado, are designed for tactical float bridging and rafting operations and feature upgraded capabilities for improved operations and ruggedness. The delivery marks a significant milestone in the contract awarded to General Dynamics European Land Systems (GDELS) in 2023.
