Calgary Event Centre Design to Be Unveiled This Summer

The design renderings for Calgary’s long-awaited event center are expected to be made public this summer, according to Ward 1 Councilor Sonya Sharp. The $1.2 billion project, which includes an arena, community rink, and public space improvements, is on schedule and on budget, with hopes to break ground in August. The new design concepts are said to be an improvement over the previous plans released in 2021, and the entire project is targeted for completion by August 31, 2026.
