Canon has granted third-party lens manufacturers Sigma and Tamron access to its RF-mount, signaling a wider selection and potentially more affordable lenses for Canon crop-sensor camera users. Sigma has announced six existing crop-sensor lenses to be adapted for RF-mount by 2024, including the highly regarded Sigma 10-18mm F2.8 DC DN. Tamron’s contribution will be the popular 11-20mm F2.8 F/2.8 Di III-A RXD lens.
