The South Seas Tarpon Tournament, held on Captiva Island, Florida, was a resounding success, raising $200,000 for Folds of Honor, a non-profit organization that provides educational grants to the families of fallen or disabled American armed forces members and first responders. The tournament, which featured 31 skippers and 111 anglers, awarded $32,000 in prize money and resulted in 40 grants being awarded to local Folds of Honor recipients in Lee County.
