MSC Grandiosa to Sail from Port Canaveral in 2024

MSC Cruises has announced plans to homeport the MSC Grandiosa at Port Canaveral starting in December 2024. The 2,400-cabin ship will offer alternating seven-night cruises to the Eastern and Western Caribbean, expanding MSC’s presence in the United States. To accommodate the increased traffic, Port Canaveral is expediting the construction of a new cruise terminal on its north side, ensuring efficient passenger and ship management. Despite concerns about increased traffic, the allure of the MSC Grandiosa and its luxurious amenities is expected to keep travelers coming.

MSC Cruises Unveils Plans for Second Ship at Port Canaveral, Expanding Caribbean Offerings from December 2025

MSC Cruises continues to strengthen its presence in the U.S. with the introduction of a second vessel, MSC Grandiosa, at Port Canaveral in December 2025. This addition expands the port’s offerings with a wider range of 7-night cruises and shorter excursions to The Bahamas. Passengers will have the choice of MSC Grandiosa’s alternating 7-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries or MSC Seashore’s continued 3- and 4-night sailings to Nassau and Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. MSC Grandiosa will depart on Eastern Caribbean routes, including stops in Nassau, Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve, Puerto Plata, San Juan, and Charlotte Amalie, while the Western Caribbean itinerary will feature visits to Nassau, Cozumel, Costa Maya, George Town, Montego Bay, Falmouth, and Belize City.
