Caribbean Week New York 2024 Announces Impressive Speaker Lineup

The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) has announced a notable lineup of speakers for Caribbean Week in New York 2024. The event, celebrating its 35th anniversary with the theme “Connecting the Globe, Celebrating Diversity,” will feature a dynamic roster of leaders, including Deputy Prime Minister I. Chester Cooper of The Bahamas, American Airlines executive José Freig, music producer Evan Rogers, communications specialist Lisa-Ann Joseph, and data engineer Femi Anthony. The week-long event will encompass executive committee, board of directors, and ministerial council meetings, along with a church service, Business and Tourism Marketing Symposium, Caribbean Media Awards, Media Marketplace, and a special session on artificial intelligence. The CTO Scholarship Foundation and Jean Holder Memorial Scholarship will also be highlighted, as well as the Women’s Leadership Breakfast Awards.

Caribbean Week 2024 to Connect the Globe, Celebrate Diversity in New York City

The Caribbean Week 2024, hosted by the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO), will take place in New York City from June 16-21, 2024. The event will feature a dynamic array of events and business meetings, including sessions with the CTO Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Ministerial Council. The week will kick off with a church service followed by a Business and Tourism Marketing Symposium. The Caribbean Media Awards will once again honor journalists and influencers who have effectively promoted Caribbean tourism, complemented by the popular Media Marketplace. A special session on artificial intelligence will highlight the organization’s progressive stance. The event will also spotlight the vital contributions of the CTO Foundation and introduce the newly established Jean Holder Scholarship. Topics such as service excellence, enhancing connections between New York City and the region, airlift strategies, multicultural marketing, travel trade relations, public relations, crisis communications, and smart destination management will be discussed. The week will also include a leadership breakfast and awards ceremony dedicated to women’s empowerment, as well as a Cricket Ceremony and Watch Party.
