Noah Lyles Advances to 100m Semifinals Despite Slow Start

Noah Lyles, the reigning world champion in both the 100m and 200m, finished second in his opening heat at the Olympics, but still advanced to the semifinals. Lyles had a sluggish start, but managed to finish in 10.04 seconds, behind Louie Hinchliffe, who was coached by Carl Lewis. Lyles will now compete in the semifinals on Sunday, with the gold medal race taking place later that evening.
