A 72-year-old British tourist visiting Romania’s Carpathian Mountains was attacked by a bear while attempting to take pictures of the animal. The woman was traveling with her partner when she spotted two bears and lowered the car window to take photos. One of the bears approached the car and attacked her arm, prompting her partner to drive away. The woman was hospitalized with injuries that are not life-threatening, and authorities have deployed teams to drive the bears away from the area.
