The Supreme Court of India has declined to put a hold on the Patna High Court’s order that scrapped the 65% caste-based reservation in jobs and admissions in Bihar. The court will hear appeals from the Bihar government in September.
TDP national president N. Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed his unwavering support for the 4% Muslim reservation and pledged to restore welfare programs scrapped by the YSRCP government. He appealed to the Chittoor sentiment, highlighting his connection to the district and promising to bring development and irrigation projects to the region.
