CBI Denies Bail to Former RG Kar Medical College Principal in Kolkata Doctor Rape Case

Karnataka Withdraws General Consent for CBI Investigations

The Karnataka government has decided to withdraw its general consent for the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate cases within the state. This decision comes after a special court ordered a Lokayukta police probe against former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in a land allotment case. The government alleges misuse of the CBI and a lack of progress in investigations.
