The Chonga Girls, a multi-camera comedy series, is in development at CBS Studios. The series follows Mimi Davila and Laura Di Lorenzo, two childhood friends who move from Miami to Hollywood to pursue their dreams of becoming famous. However, they end up working at a department store makeup counter. The series is written and stars Davila and Di Lorenzo, who perform as The Chonga Girls. Marlena Rodriguez, Wilmer Valderrama, Kaitlin Saltzman, and Al Madrigal are also attached as writers and executive producers.
