Harsha Rana, the Kolkata Knight Riders pacer, now thinks twice before dealing with the BCCI, following his recent run-ins with the board. Rana was suspended for one match and fined 100% of his match fees for sending off Delhi Capitals batter Abishek Porel, leading him to request his coach, Chandrakant Pandit, not to speak to the BCCI about scheduling during a flight diversion due to inclement weather. Rana’s request stems from his earlier fine of 60% of his match fees for giving a flying kiss to Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Mayank Agarwal. Despite his recent disciplinary issues, Rana has been in top form for KKR, emerging as their joint-highest wicket-taker alongside Sunil Narine with 14 strikes.
