Cheverus freshman pitcher Addison DeRoche made a stunning debut on the mound, throwing a no-hitter and striking out 15 batters in a 6-0 victory over Scarborough on Tuesday afternoon. DeRoche also contributed offensively with a double and a triple, scoring a run and driving in two more. The Stags, who are expected to be a top contender in Class A South this season, improved to 2-0 with the win, while the Red Storm dropped to 2-1.
