The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) won the majority in the elections, while Narendra Modi is set to take oath as the head of the coalition government for a third term. The meeting is part of the process for the formation of the 18th Lok Sabha, and the newly elected members are expected to meet on June 7 to formally elect Mr. Modi as their leader.
