Poppylillac Gough, who grew up with a police officer father, is passionate about providing support for children of first responders. After experiencing firsthand the toll her father’s job took on her family, Gough realized the need for in-school support to help these children cope with the unique challenges they face. She has established an initiative to implement group counseling and other support services in schools, starting with Townsville schools. Gough hopes to expand the program to reach more children and ensure they have the resources they need to navigate their challenging circumstances.
