The GWM Tank 700, currently available in China, may soon make its way to Australia as a flagship model for the brand. With a starting price of approximately A$150,000, it would become one of the most expensive Chinese cars on the Australian market. GWM Australia is considering bringing the Tank 700 to right-hand drive, with a business case currently being assessed. If approved, the vehicle could be available within six to nine months, demonstrating the brand’s rapid product development and delivery. The Tank 700 is expected to offer a powerful 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, advanced suspension and off-road capabilities, and a spacious cabin. A lower-grade model with a 2.0-liter turbo hybrid petrol engine may also be offered in the future, potentially reducing the starting price.
