Renowned choreographer Remo D’Souza and his wife Lizelle have been booked by the Thane police for allegedly defrauding a dance troupe of ₹11.96 crore. The complaint, filed by a 26-year-old dancer, claims that D’Souza and his associates misrepresented themselves as the troupe’s owners and claimed the prize money they won on a television show. The case, registered under charges of forgery and cheating, is currently under investigation.
