Bulls Assistant Coaches Fleming and Cheeks Depart, Bryant to Join Main Bench

Chris Fleming, a long-time assistant coach for the Chicago Bulls, will not be returning next season. The veteran assistant, who joined the Bulls in 2019, is leaving along with Maurice Cheeks, who served as an assistant under head coach Billy Donovan. Cheeks, a former All-Star guard, is expected to take on a different role within the organization. In a shakeup of the coaching staff, second-row assistant John Bryant is set to join the main bench for the 2024-25 season. Josh Longstaff is among the candidates being considered for the role of lead assistant. The Bulls are undergoing a restructuring of their coaching staff, with several changes expected to take effect next season.
