The iconic ‘rat hole’ sidewalk imprint in Chicago’s Roscoe Village neighborhood has been removed after city officials deemed the section damaged and in need of replacement. The imprint, resembling a rat’s outline, had gained popularity online but faced complaints from neighbors citing disruptions caused by visitors and concerns about the uneven sidewalk.

Longmont residents are invited to engage with city officials at the upcoming Coffee with Council event on Saturday at the Longmont Museum. Councilmembers Marcia Martin and Sean McCoy will be present to discuss topics of interest with attendees.
