Puja Khedkar’s Anticipatory Bail Hearing Postponed: UPSC Takes Action Against Alleged Fraudulent Candidate

Puja Khedkar, a provisional candidate for the Civil Services Examination 2022, faces criminal prosecution after the UPSC filed an FIR against her for allegedly falsifying her identity to exceed the permissible number of attempts in the exam. The Delhi Patiala House Court postponed the hearing on Khedkar’s anticipatory bail application on Tuesday, following the appointment of a new special public prosecutor. The UPSC has also issued a show cause notice for the cancellation of her candidature and debarment from future exams.

UPSC Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2024 to be Held on June 16th

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will conduct the Civil Services Examination (CSE) Prelims 2024 on June 16th, 2024. The exam will consist of two papers: General Studies Paper 1 and General Studies Paper 2 (CSAT). Paper 1 will be held from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, and Paper 2 will be held from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Candidates can download their UPSC CSE Admit Card 2024 from the official UPSC website, upsc.gov.in. Candidates must bring a printed copy of their admit card, two recent passport-sized photographs, and a valid, government-issued photo ID proof to the exam hall.
