Syracuse Football: Class of 2025 Commitments Emerging

Syracuse University’s football program is witnessing a surge in verbal commitments for its incoming Class of 2025, with approximately 20 prospects already expressing their intent to join the Orange. Through these commitments, the program is displaying a clear preference for players who exhibit exceptional physical attributes, excelling in both size and speed. Notably, the recruits primarily originate from the Northeast region.

CBA’s Daunte Bacheyie Commits to Syracuse Football

Christian Brothers Academy’s wide receiver Daunte Bacheyie has committed to Syracuse University’s football program for the Class of 2025. Bacheyie joins teammates Darien Williams and Matthew Hawn, who previously committed to the Orange. The 6-foot-5, 193-pound receiver had offers from several other schools, including Pittsburgh, Boston College, Buffalo, and Fordham. Despite not being currently rated by major recruiting services, Bacheyie showcased his Division I-caliber talent during his junior season, recording 19 receptions for 312 yards and seven touchdowns. He also excels in track and field, recently running a 11.63-second 100-meter dash. Bacheyie’s commitment marks the 17th addition to Syracuse’s Class of 2025, which already includes three other wide receivers.

NASCAR Hall of Fame Unveils Nominees for 2025 Class and Landmark Award

The NASCAR Hall of Fame announced 15 nominees for the 2025 Class alongside five for the Landmark Award for Outstanding Contributions to NASCAR. Former drivers Greg Biffle, Ray Hendrick, and Bob Welborn join the Pioneer ballot alongside engine builder Randy Dorton and three-time Truck champion Jack Sprague. Dr. Dean Sickling, inventor of the SAFER barrier, is nominated for the Landmark Award. The NASCAR Hall of Fame Voting Panel will meet on May 21st to select the 2025 Class and Landmark Award winners. A NASCAR.com Fan Vote will also contribute to the final ballot, with voting closing on May 19th.
