10th World Water Forum Concludes in Bali, Adopts Significant Resolutions

The 10th World Water Forum concluded in Bali, Indonesia, with the adoption of several significant resolutions, including the endorsement of a World Lakes Day and the creation of a Center of Excellence on Water and Climate Resilience. The forum emphasized the need for integrated water resource management on small islands and adopted a Ministerial Declaration encapsulating commitments to 113 clean water and sanitation projects valued at USD 9.4 billion. Attended by 64,000 participants from 160 countries, the forum highlighted the critical need for enhanced cooperation among stakeholders to achieve its goals and recognized the contributions of individuals like Iffah Rachmi, who received the Kyoto World Water Grand Prize 2024.
