The Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA) recently concluded its three-day annual conference in Southampton, highlighting the vast selling opportunities within cruise destinations for 850 delegates. The event featured ship tours, industry trade fair, and the Sailaway Party. Notably, Harry Judd from McFly made a celebrity appearance, while industry leaders from P&O Cruises, Carnival UK, Virgin Voyages, Celebrity Cruises, Azamara Cruises, and Princess Cruises delivered insights. Prior to the main conference, a ‘New to Selling Cruise Day’ training session was offered for newcomers. CLIA also announced future events: the Destination Showcase in Gibraltar (September 15-17) and the CLIA Weekender in Barcelona (October 24-26).
