President of ECA Questions Super League’s Future, Emphasizes Club Competition Unity

During a meeting with UEFA President Aleksander Ceferin, ECA President Nasser Al-Khelaïfi expressed concerns over the Super League concept, reiterating the ECA’s belief in the importance of club competition unity. Alongside ECA CEO Jonas Baer-Hoffmann and Real Sociedad President Jokin Aperribay, Al-Khelaïfi emphasized the strength of the ECA’s 610 member clubs and the need for Spanish football to unite for the benefit of all parties involved. ECA vice president Edwin van der Sar stressed the significance of preserving the existing football structure and pursuing the dreams of aspiring individuals.
