Tourmaline Oil Corp. and Clean Energy Fuels Corp. have opened two new CNG fueling stations in Alberta, expanding their commitment to building Western Canada’s first commercial-grade public CNG fueling network. This initiative aims to displace diesel fuel in long-haul trucking and create a more sustainable transportation sector. The new stations in Calgary and Grande Prairie, along with the Edmonton station that opened in April 2023, are strategically located to create a transportation corridor for trucking companies transitioning their fleets to CNG.

Mahanagar Gas Ltd (MGL) has increased the price of CNG in Mumbai by Rs 1.50 per kg and domestic piped natural gas (PNG) by Re 1 due to rising input costs. The new prices will come into effect from the night of July 8-9. This rise is attributed to increased demand and a shortfall in domestic gas allocation, forcing MGL to source more expensive imported LNG.
