Residents of South Mumbai have launched an online petition against the proposed installation of hoardings along the city’s new coastal road. They argue that the hoardings would spoil the aesthetics, distract drivers, and have negative environmental impacts. While the BMC claims no hoardings are planned on reclaimed land, residents remain opposed to any hoardings in their locality.
