A young girl was successfully rescued from under massive rocks on a beach in Wales after a three-hour operation involving dozens of rescuers and heavy machinery. The incident occurred on Tywyn beach in Gwynedd, where the girl became trapped amidst stone ‘armour’ as the tide began to come in. The Aberdovy Coastguard Rescue Team arrived swiftly and coordinated a response with Barmouth Coastguard Rescue, Tywyn Fire Station, North Wales Police, Welsh Ambulance Service, Gwynedd Maritime Service, and Wales Air Ambulance. The rescue required a specialized approach due to the weight and instability of the rocks, with contractors bringing in lifting machinery as a last resort. The successful operation freed the girl, and her parents who had been witnessing the ordeal in fear, expressed immense gratitude to the emergency services for their dedication and expertise.
