Amazon has announced it will be closing its drone delivery site in Lockeford, California. The program launched in San Joaquin County in 2022. Amazon will continue to offer current employees opportunities at other sites and will continue to serve customers in Lockeford with other delivery methods. The company did not announce when the Lockeford site would shut down or share the reason behind the decision to close.
