Revised plans for a 28-bedroom House of Multiple Occupation (HMO) have been submitted for a former glass showroom in Radcliffe. The initial proposal for a 35-bed HMO was rejected due to concerns about noise, disturbance, and lack of parking. The revised plans include a reduction in bedrooms, larger communal areas, and improved parking arrangements to address the previous objections.

Bath Massage Parlor Shut Down for Operating as Unlicensed ‘Adult Relaxation Spa’

Xinye Spa, located on Centre Street in Bath, was ordered to close its doors due to offering unlicensed pseudo-massage services in a restricted neighborhood. The spa was operating without the required special licensing and employed non-licensed individuals to rub oil on customers in a massage-like manner. The business was shut down following an investigation prompted by concerns raised by community members and its proximity to churches and residential buildings, which is prohibited by local ordinances.
