Human Remains Found in Utah Believed to be Missing Hispanic Woman

Authorities in Duchesne County, Utah, are seeking the public’s help in identifying human remains discovered over two decades ago. The remains, which were found on a property in 2001, are believed to belong to a Hispanic female between the ages of 17 and 25. Investigators have released a composite sketch of what the woman may have looked like. The remains were initially thought to be Native American, but an anthropological analysis determined them to belong to a young modern woman. Anyone with information about the missing woman is urged to contact the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
