Valorant Lands on Consoles: Beta Test Coming Soon to PlayStation and Xbox

Riot Games’ popular competitive hero shooter Valorant is expanding to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles with a limited beta test expected as soon as next week. The console versions will feature cross-progression but not crossplay due to competitive integrity concerns arising from differing control methods. Riot Games has implemented a new ‘Focus’ feature to adapt the game for controller usage. The beta test will initially roll out in select regions on June 14, with a wider release to follow. Valorant on consoles will receive simultaneous updates and patches with the PC version.

V Rising Slashes Onto PS5 Consoles on June 11

Stunlock Studios’ popular vampire-themed online survival game, V Rising, is expanding its reach to PlayStation 5 consoles on June 11. Pre-orders will grant early access starting June 6, while the base game will cost $40 or $36 with PlayStation Plus. Players can also choose from two limited editions: the Legacy of Castlevania edition for $60, featuring Castlevania-inspired cosmetics, and the Complete Edition for $100, which includes additional DLC packs. However, crossplay between PS5 and PC users is currently unlikely.

Manor Lords on Consoles: What We Know So Far

Released in April 2024, Manor Lords has become a popular strategy game on Steam and PC Game Pass. As a result, many players have been wondering if and when the game will be released for consoles. While there has been no official confirmation regarding a release date, developer Greg Styczeń has hinted at a possible Xbox release in the near future. However, the situation for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch versions remains uncertain.
