Jan Oršič, Head of the Ljubljana Convention Bureau, has been elected to the International Congress and Convention Association (ICCA) Board of Directors, marking a significant step for smaller cities in the global meetings industry. Oršič’s extensive experience and expertise will contribute to ICCA’s future initiatives and strengthen collaboration among members.
The Penang Convention & Exhibition Bureau (PCEB) is participating for the seventh consecutive year at The Meetings Show London 2024, promoting Penang as a premier destination for business events. The bureau’s pavilion features exhibitors like Amari SPICE Penang and Lone Pine Penang, and showcases Penang’s culinary heritage through live demonstrations. PCEB is also highlighting the upcoming Penang Waterfront Convention Centre, a large venue designed for major exhibitions and conferences.
