The Philippines and South Korea have signed a new tourism cooperation agreement, aiming to boost tourism between the two countries through joint initiatives, including investment encouragement, tourism safety enhancement, and collaborative marketing efforts.
India’s External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar visited Sri Lanka, meeting with President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya, and other officials to discuss strengthening cooperation and deepening ties between the two nations. Jaishankar reaffirmed India’s commitment to supporting Sri Lanka’s economic recovery, highlighting the importance of continued collaboration in various sectors.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi met in Ankara on Wednesday to further strengthen their recently mended relations. The two leaders signed 17 cooperation agreements, aiming to boost economic ties and collaborate on regional issues like the conflict in Gaza and the situation in Somalia.
India and Malaysia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen tourism ties. The agreement aims to boost cooperation in areas such as tourism promotion, research, training, and investment. This collaboration is expected to further increase tourist arrivals from Malaysia and strengthen the existing tourism relationship between the two nations.
