This leak confirms previous rumors about the processors’ specifications and design, hinting at a potential battle with AMD’s Ryzen 9000 series CPUs.
Intel’s highly anticipated next-gen Core Ultra 200 series ‘Arrow Lake-S’ desktop CPUs are rumored to launch on October 10th. The new processors will feature a redesigned architecture, a new LGA 1851 socket, and support for DDR5 memory only. The flagship Core Ultra 9 285K will offer 24 cores, 24 threads, and a boost clock speed of up to 5.7GHz.
MSI is set to unveil its next-generation Z890 motherboards at Gamescom 2024, including the Z890 MAG Tomahawk, designed for Intel’s upcoming Core Ultra 200 series processors. The new motherboards feature the LGA 1851 socket and are expected to be released alongside Intel’s Arrow Lake processors in Q4 2024.
