The Allahabad High Court has authorized live broadcasting of prayers at the Bankey Bihari temple in Vrindavan during Janmashtami, aiming to improve crowd management after a stampede-like situation last year. London City Hall has refunded over 3,000 attendees of London’s New Year’s Eve fireworks due to disruptions caused by fake tickets. Investigations revealed that 3,075 tickets worth £61,000 were refunded due to fake ticket holders. City Hall and the Metropolitan Police are working to combat the issue. The London Assembly Oversight Committee will scrutinize future pricing, planning, and budgeting for the event, following a motion by Deputy Leader Emma Best highlighting concerns over ticket price increases and fake ticket mismanagement. Despite the disruptions, the event featured over 12,000 fireworks and had a total cost of nearly £4 million, with £1.75 million generated from ticket revenue.
