Canada Upgrades Airport Security with Cutting-Edge CT Technology

The Canadian Air Transport Security Authority (CATSA) is implementing a multi-year plan to enhance airport security checkpoints across Canada by installing advanced computed tomography (CT) technology. This innovative system will streamline the screening process for travelers by allowing them to keep liquids, electronics, and other permitted items in their carry-on bags. The first installation has already been completed at Vancouver International Airport, with additional deployments planned for other airports in the coming years.
