Darwin Airport Resort, which opened in December 2023, has won three prestigious awards at the 2024 Hospitality NT Awards for Excellence, including Best Superior Accommodation, Best Redeveloped Accommodation Hotel, and Best Overall Accommodation Hotel. The resort is the result of a $30 million renovation that merged the adjacent Novotel and Mercure hotels, and features a new reception and lounge area with views of a new 61-meter swimming pool, poolside cabanas, a children’s aquatic playground, and new poolside dining options. The resort also offers a range of accommodation options, including family suites, standalone bungalows, and exclusive 5-star tropical pool villas equipped with private plunge pools.
