Hunter Biden’s Tax Trial Faces Delay Request, Gun Case Trial Date Set

Federal prosecutors are seeking to deny Hunter Biden’s request for a delay in his upcoming California tax trial. The trial is expected to begin on June 20th, despite Biden’s attorney’s request for a 77-day continuance.

In his motion, Special Counsel David Weiss argued that Biden’s attorney had previously agreed to the trial dates and that no defendant should be granted a continuance due to a wrongly filed appeal.

Meanwhile, a three-judge panel of a federal appeals court has ruled that the tax case against Biden can proceed. In Delaware, Biden is also facing a gun charge trial scheduled to begin on June 3rd.
