Delhi Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj met with Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in Tihar Jail on Wednesday, assuring that Kejriwal remains strong and resolute despite his arrest. Bharadwaj conveyed Kejriwal’s request for the public not to worry about him and emphasized his continued commitment to serving the people of Delhi. The meeting took place in the ‘mulakat jangla’ of the jail, a mesh barrier separating visitors from inmates. Kejriwal was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate on March 21 in connection with a money laundering case but has not resigned from his position. The Aam Aadmi Party maintains that he will continue to run the government from jail.
