In light of Prime Minister-designate Narendra Modi’s swearing-in ceremony today, the Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory. The vicinity of Rashtrapati Bhavan will be a ‘controlled’ area. Traffic restrictions will be in place from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM, and DTC buses will not be permitted to operate near Rashtrapati Bhavan. Several roads will be closed, including Imtiaz Khan Marg, Rakab Ganj Road, Rafi Ahmed Kidwai Marg, Pandit Pant Marg, and Talkatora Road. Traffic will be diverted from various points. Multi-layered security arrangements are in place, including the deployment of paramilitary forces, NSG commandos, drones, and snipers.
