Ishaq Dar Appointed as Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has appointed Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar as the country’s Deputy Prime Minister. The decision was announced through a notification released by the Cabinet Division. Dar has also been included in the Council of Common Interests (CCI), replacing the Finance Minister. The CCI, chaired by Prime Minister Sharif, comprises all four chief ministers alongside other council members.
